Japan Earthquake: Six Months Later

On March 11, Japan was struck by a 8.9 earthquake on the Richter scale followed by an extraordinary destructive 30 foot tsunami wave that killed over 22,000 people.

The Atlantic posted a series of photos that depict the recovery efforts. Here is a series of before/after images.
