“The front door has been relocated and a new, central hall has been created, which allows for rooms of greater proportions than those typically experienced in a Victorian house. The ground floor is therefore a combination of two large rooms coming off a central hall; one room addresses the street and consists of the formal living room with a bay window, while the kitchen addresses the garden. The rear façade was rebuilt to improve the connection with the private exterior space.”
