Magnificent House Designed by Augusto Quijano Arquitectos in Yucatan, Mexico
By Magaly • Aug 31, 2017
This wonderful house was designed in the year 2016 by the architectural firm Augusto Quijano Arquitectos for a couple whose children no longer live at home. It is located in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico and covers an area of 495 square meters.
Its exterior has beautiful green areas that give an excellent introduction to the home to visitors. A swimming pool in the middle of the garden, surrounded by palm trees that give a very tropical touch, refreshes both residents and guests on those hot summer days.
In its interior, we find spaces full of natural light, beautifully decorated in a very modern style. Earthy tones have been used in both furniture and floors, and also on the walls, giving the space a touch of elegance.
The kitchen is spacious, comfortable, and modern. It has enough room for storage and is equipped with modern electrical appliances that facilitate daily domestic tasks.
Although we see that the living room-kitchen and dining room converge in a same space, sliding wooden doors were installed so that, whenever the residents wish to, they can be closed and so provide more privacy for each space.
In the evening, the views of the house look even more beautiful, both inside and outside.
