Because of their unconventional company style, they desired a design that reflected a certain extravagance, and thus would present their company as a young and fresh business seeking to inspire vocational dreams.
They wanted to put much emphasis on the lobby area, because of the fact that it’s a client’s first impression upon entering the space. It had to, then, present a very good first image, as well as the kitchen area did, having to change from a space meant for a breakfast and coffee to a more special area, where people could rest comfortably. Thus, a large yellow kitchen was built, with a large table where people can gather and relax.
The lobby employs a type of pool effect, where the visitors can “submerge themselves” underneath the water. In order to create this effect, a deep blue elevated pipe was designed to be hanging overhead, looping around the lobby, defining different mini-areas within the lobby.
