Former Belgian army pilot Philippe Tondeur, one of our readers, has sent us photos of his spectacular loft-like residence located in Villefranche sur Mer, a small coastal town on the French Riviera.

This 1910 water cleaning station was converted into an impressive 5,400 square foot 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom loft.

The property also boasts a 700 square foot, one bedroom, one bath detached guest apartment, a 5 car garage, a heated swimming pool, a super sized hot tub facing a natural harbor and an indoor 45 foot tall water tank that spreads on three level!

Abandoned in the early 70’s, the building was acquired by the present owner in 1996. Philippe spent almost 15 years transforming it into a high end, modern living space, with the help of Belgian interior designer Bernadette Jacques.

Offering amazing views on the natural harbor of Villefranche and Cap Ferrat, this exceptional loft is now available for sale, fully furnished.

If you are looking for an exclusive pied a terre on the French Riviera, look no more.
