Crystal Clear by Inbalika Studio:

“A mature couple wanted to leave their separate apartments, and unite in one new, clean and modern home. Inbal Tsalka of Israeli studio Inbalika designed a functional and minimalist space for them with much thought to their current and future needs.

To keep the design clean and fresh the designer chose to keep the floor, walls and ceiling as minimalistic as possible with a white and bright finish. The client has a high sensitivity to direct light, which needed to be taken under consideration for the lighting and material choices. The bright tones in addition to meticulous planning of indirect light, allowed the space to be bright yet suitable for everyone.

The couple’s love for cooking and entertaining influenced several planning and design choices – the kitchen is well equipped to cooking large and complex meals, the dining and living areas are both open and spacious and an extra refrigerator is hidden next to the dining table.

The overall look of the apartment is very fresh and luxurious and white materials fill the majority of the space. To add drama and chic to the white tones, the designer used black furniture in addition to a few clear glass pieces and a small and elegant pop of color with the accessories.”
