You’ve probably heard the saying about living in glass houses, but have you ever actually seen a glass house? Okay, so maybe there aren’t very many residential buildings that are actually built of glass, but some designs that feature windows heavily get pretty close! That’s what look at the absolutely stunning and utterly sun filled M House is like.
M House is a private residence located on the edge of a pretty man-made river. Designed by innovative architectural firm Liag Architects, this house is nestled into a quiet, natural street and blends quite nicely despite its very modern shape and aesthetic. The squared off building only helps accentuate the big, bright windows we were just raving about, and that’s just what you can see from the front!
Around the back of M House, which is located in Weert, The Netherlands and was completed in 2015, you’ll find even more windows and we’re overjoyed with how stunning a view it establishes from both the inside and the outside. On days when it’s too chilly outside to enjoy the ultra modern but comfortable deck sofas, you can move inside and still enjoy daylight that’s just as bright as the day outside.
On that same chilly day, are you staring at the water at the end of the driveway wishing that you could take a quick swim? Well, then head on over to the back of the home and into a fully windowed sun room complete with a beautiful indoor pool! It’s like having your own spa area in the centre of a much more modern home that you’d typically find on a resort.
