The architecture Studio Vita Architecture took this magnificent remodeling of a project located in Reigate, Surrey, England, belonging to a couple in their retirement years. The project, completed in 2017, had a simple purpose: provide the couple with a space where they could dedicate their hours to free time, as well as thoroughly enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Despite being comfortable with the house, they felt they needed to give a new look to the space, especially in the kitchen area, which needed to be updated to give it a more modern and contemporary feel. They also wanted to renovate the dining area, from which you can enjoy the wonderful garden, either with views through the glass doors or unfolding these doors to one side, allowing the garden to be seamlessly integrated into the building’s interior. This beautiful and spacious garden serves to spend wonderful moments together with fantastic company. Its exterior, with beautiful red bricks, contrasts with the greenery of its lawn and its plants.
The modern, spacious and bright kitchen was also renovated to a much more modern style. One of the most important changes was the use of a glossy black material and white veined marble countertops.
It has windows through which light seeps in and fills the space, giving a warm and cozy sensation.
